Since the beginning of his career his works were connected with meat, which was delivered by oil paintings. After a few years his works transformed into mixed media, light, digital installations, public art expressions, papier-mache sculptures and conceptual performance presentations with meat and the use of cutting boards and meat grinder. Why meat? ….. There are over 7 billion people of different origin, culture and religion – yet they are mainly meat eaters….We cut meat into small bits, chew, digest and push it out. Meat grinder replicates this particular process. Themes of Baysaa’s work may seem simple and easily understandable, however they also carry and deliver hidden, dual strong hybrid messages.
Restart a performance of continues turning auger is a reflection of a universe where cruelty and compassion mixes and triggers another start, RESTART.
